First try at DIY OMBRE HAIR

Read the title?

Yup i know im like wayyyyyyy outdated..
the ombre hair craze is almost dead..
BUT it's better late than never right? keke

I wont be sharing the step by step process. however i will roughly do an overview on how i created this hair style~!

These are the few items i always prepare when im going to DIY dye my hair~

  1. Hair dyes (of course!) REVLON medium ash brown(40) x2, light ash brown(80) x1
  2. Moisturizer to apply on the skin close to the hair line (any random one will do)
  3. Gloves (because the one that comes with it SUCKS)
  4. Hair cap (MUST HAVE from DAISO.. read my daiso must buy here)
  5. Disposable apron (from DAISO again!)
  6. Comb (to untangle hair)

Also wear an ugly old school tshirt (unwanted).. it would be a bonus if it is comfy :D
Not forgetting A FAN in this humid singapore...

A point to note.. everytime i use the REVLON hair dye on myself i will feel like FAINTING! seriously the fumes are over bearing! so it is best to dye ur hair in a well ventilated place!!!

Start dye-ing from the crown of your head and avoid applying the dye a few inches away from the ends.
-using medium ash brown-

OK so how did i dye the 'ombre' part?
i searched around youtube and find the ones i clicked on USELESS..

so i was like since the effect will only be at the ends of my hair so use the lighter shade at the bottom lah!!
(i know genius right?)

And so i randomly decided where should the ombre effect start (as shown in the picture above)
Then i SPAM 3/4 BOTTLE OF THE LIGHT SHADE. -light ash brown-
Try your best to slap the whole bottle on!

I used aluminum foil to cover the ends to avoid mixing the colours when i clip up my hair up to let it develop.

And voala~
your very own ombre hair is done!!!

Picture taken after i semi dry my hair.
SOBZ i know quite fail right..

Will add a new picture after the dye fades abit in a few days time!

Till then~ BYE BYE

UPDATES

3DAYS LATER

How is it??

I guess only the 'chosen ones' can see the ombre effect TT.TT
maybe i shouldnt have dyed a brown colour at the top.....
