[REVIEW] + comparison between 2 concealers (maybelline VS canmake)

Today i will be reviewing 2 different types of concealers.. liquid and stick type.

1.Maybelline's pure concealer mineral 'healthy natural concealer' in 01 light
2.Canmake's color stick 07

The maybelline one comes in 2 shades. 01 light and 02 natural.
On the other hand canmake's color stick comes in a range of colours targeting different types of problem areas or highlighting purposes. [01] Yellow beige, [02] Natural beige, [06] beige ochre, [07] apricot, [08] yellow gold, [09] Skin Beige and [10] Crystal white.

This is how they look applied on my hand.

*sorry due to the lighting my hand looks super pale.

After blending them out it looked quite natural. However canmake's color stick can be a tad dark for my skin tone.

I would say both are relatively easy to blend into the skin but the liquid one is slightly easier and requires less tugging.

Starting from here there will be alot of eyeballs staring at you.

WARNING: it may make you feel uncomfortable.. (haha)

MAYBELLINE

There are many ways to apply concealer and i normally use the applicator directly or apply them on the back of the hand and use my fingers to dab it on.

Be careful not to use too much of it as it will cake.

This is how it looks like applying 2 thin layers. I wouldnt say my panda eyes disappeared completely but it's good enough for me~

CANMAKE

For the stick one i use the applicator directly.

Also with 2 thin layers.

You dont need 2 layers if ur panda eye isnt that bad.

haha sorry about the cocked eye... 

I would say both the concealers fades of gradually on me as i tend to rub my eyes to make sure i sweep away any mascara fall outs (bad habit)

Both are rather cheap as they are drugstore brands and they are easily available EVERYWHERE..

CHOOSE MAYBELLINE

• easy to blend
• covers reddish spots perfectly (i use them on my acne scars too)
• suits my shade better

CHOOSE CANMAKE

• effortless to apply (glides on really conveniently)
• will not cake as much
• made in japan (lol im biased towards japan anything!! haha)

Overall, i will use the maybelline one when i want to achieve a flawless look and use the canmake one when im pressed for time.
